| Franny Honored: Book number four in the Franny K Stein series, THE FRAN THAT TIME FORGOT, has been selected as one of two winners of the 2006 Eleanor Cameron Award, given by the Golden Duck Award Committee. The award is given annually for the best science fiction book for children.
AND Book number five, FRANTASTIC VOYAGE has been nominated as funniest book of the year in Disney's 8th Annual Book Awards. We won't know how the voting goes until May, but it's a huge honor to be considered among so many terrific titles. AND FRANNY IS IN MOVIE DEVELOPMENT!! These things take a long time, and sometimes even after they go into development, they still don't work out, but we have our finges crossed! |

Appearance and Signing: I'll be at the TARGET BOOK FAIR, August 25, 2007 at Kensington Metropark. ( Detroit Area ). Presentation is 1:20-1:50, signing: 1:50 -2:50. Lots of books and great stuff for kids. It's a terrific, gigantic park with a beuatiful lake, woods, bike paths and rolling hills. TARGET puts on a great event, and I hope to see you there. Franny K.
